The Eames Desk Unit is structurally specific to the drawers orientation. Any modifications to the unit post purchase could compromise the integrity of the product and would void the warranty.

We do offer desks without storage that would provide flexibility and could accommodate a changing work space.

The Flo Dual Monitor Support combined with our Envelop desk can hold up to a 20 pound monitor per arm securely without any questions. The 27" Thunderbolt Display does exceed our 20 pounds threshold, therefore, would not work in conjunction with the Flo Monitor Supports.

Removing the arms is possible, however, this is a procedure that should be performed by an Authorized Dealer. If the arms are not removed and/or attached properly damage can occur that would require a complete chair replacement.

The seat of the Aeron B size chair is 20.25 inches wide and although the base diameter is 27.3", if your desk has clearance of 20" from the floor to the bottom of your drawers, the armless version of our Aeron B size chair would work with your desk.
